It's never the same thing twice.
Those are the words on the back of my Magnetic Sculpture Kit Box. Because, well, no matter what, you will never be able to duplicate a magnetic sculpture over again no matter how hard you try. I feel these words mean more than just a mantra on the back of a box, I believe they have a bigger meaning about everything in our entire life. Some of these meanings are good, and some are bad, but one thing's for certain, nothing ever is the same again twice.
Yesterday, I received news that I would be going to South Padre for the second time with the Boy Scouts. The last time we went, which was last year around this time, we were visited by hurricane Dolly. That's right, a cloned sheep wiped out our trip and everything down there. But that means this year there will be all new equipment and such. Also, there doesn't seem to be any hurricanes brewing, but according to the weather expert master falconer at work, something could brew up on monday and be strong enough to do the same thing by the following monday, which, surprise, surprise, that's when we will be there. Great. Another hurricane. Hopefully that won't happen and we won't have to be back at 1 or 2 in the morning like last time. This just goes to show, It's never the same thing twice.
Today, however was a non-stop day for me. I woke up at 11:20am and had to leave for work by 11:30am, or so I thought. As we were leaving my house, I checked my phone and saw that my boss called. So I called him back and the line connected with the words, "Are you here?". I said that I wasn't and that I thought we were to be there at noon today since the first show is at 2:00pm. Well, I was right, under normal circumstances, those are the correct times we are to be there on a 2:00pm show, but today, we had some scout groups come and take over the castle so we had to be there at 11:15am. Again, It's never the same thing twice, apparently. Obviously, I got there as fast as I could and got into my guard costume and guarded a large blue curtain while posing for pictures and escorting the falconer around with his large owl. Then, three shows later after non-stop work and a blister brewing on my left ankle, it was finally time to go home. Aching from the day, my father conjured up some light conversation on the ride home and we eventually made it.
Today, I had missed my cousin's graduation party, which was at my house, and I also missed a meal, but everything that happened today seem to resemble that one mantra, It's never the same thing twice. I can't wait for Monday, as Courtney and I will finally be reunited once again. After taking a week to get rid of all my personal issues and even gaining some new ones, I do realize it was good for us in the end, however skeptical of that I was at the start of the break 5 days ago. Tomorrow, I won't be able to make it to church due to the scouting thing again at the castle, so forgive me. Red Eye, my new late night TV show comes on tonight at midnight, so I better be off to catch that.
Peace

I woke up with IV's Taped to my Arms...
Those are the first words in my new book that I recieved in the mail today. Gregg Hurwitz's "The Crime Writer". I want to start reading it. Today was alright, nothing exciting, nothing new, nothing amazing. So, there isn't much need to write about it. I do know, however, that I finally get to talk to courtney on monday and I cant wait. I also am going to South Padre on the 19th at 4:00am so it will be cool...no phone or anything. I can't blog the entire time I am there. It's going to be hard. But Don't worry. I will be back, I assure you.
The only reason I used the photo I did in today's blog is because that was in my downloads folder from facebook and I didn't have time to search for another. Time to go read!!

Sunburn.
Sucks. To be quite honest, I haven't had it in a while, and I hate that I have it now. This bad topic brings up many other bad things I have been thinking about within the past several minutes. But other than those things today was pretty cool. Haha. I still haven't woken up past twelve, but hopefully I will soon, or else there will be just nothing to live for. I'm kidding of course, but still...I need to accomplish that.
This day started off at around 10:00am when I woke up and realized I had, once again, nothing to do. So, I decided to figure out a way to publish my new song to facebook, since I use it more than myspace, so I looked around on google and finally found a way to do it, and I think I was really excited because it was all I talked about til 1:00pm. Yay!! If you want to check it out go to: http://www.ilike.com/artist/The+Matt+W.+Project
Seeing as that I am ungrounded, I texted a buddy of mine to come over and swim and eat and stuff. So we swam for a bit, and then ate some Texas Toast and potato salad. Yum. In one word, perfection. Not really, but it sure was good. After that, my friend and I went inside and watched "Merlin" the new series on NBC, and might I say it is pretty darn good. I still need to watch one episode on Hulu to get myself up to date with the current new episode to air on Sunday, but it will be good too.
This morning at like 2:00am, I watched a show recommended by my youth minister at church called "Red-Eye". It's like a political talk show that makes everything really funny with some crude humor and some not so crude humor, but all in all it is a pretty god show. I'll have to watch it again tonight, or should I say, tomorrow. Hmmm...trippy...isn't it?
Anyway, after my friend and I hung out, we went to work. We both work at the same place so it was pretty convenient. We got to the castle pretty early and just sat in the locker room with some other folks and I played music from my phone. Mostly "The Lonely Island" with hit classics such as "We Like Sportz" and "D*** in a Box". Yeah, great stuff. So after we had our juke box variety hour, we all got dressed and ready for another day at the castle. And it was pretty much a normal day except for the audio engineer got a bit confused during the ending of the show and things went a bit cooky. Other than that everything was good. So after work my sister picked me up and we made our way back to the house.
So then I got on the computer and got on myspace/facebook and I know it's sad but I went straight to Courtney's page to make sure everything was going alright. I kinda feel like she ripped me out of her life, but I hope I will be put back in and what I am thinking is completely false. I love and miss her dearly.
Anyway, so I haven't heard from my New Zealand friend today. I hope tomorrow will be even better than today, and the weekend will be terrible because I have to work a lot, so I have no idea what that will bring. Well, I hope everyone is doing alright themselves. Remember to check out my songs and such on http://www.ilike.com/artist/The+Matt+W.+Project

Music to my ears.
I just love when I finally come up with a good idea for a song. Even if other people don't like it or whatever but I still have the pride of knowing I like it. That just feels nice for some reason. However, if you have doubts about your song and people say it's good despite your doubting it, it feels even better. I posted my new song today on http://www.myspace.com/themattwproject and I already had a compliment for it from my New Zealander friend, Amy. Even though I was doubting it's goodness, she seemed to like it. She could be lying, but I doubt it. See? I doubt stuff all the time, but sometimes I just need the reassurance, and somethings I don't, but either way, I'm probably just playing around and you can laugh with me. That made no sense. Whatever. Moving on, Today...
Well, I woke up at 11:59am. This actually made me a little bit upset. This is because, for the past year now, I haven't been able to sleep past noon, ever. Today I thought was going to be my day. I couldn't believe I missed it by one minute. ONE! Ugh. Oh well. I'll try again soon. But not tomorrow, I have to get up early and go work out. That means I get to ride the bus! Yay! I like public transportation. I don't know why, but I do. In other news, umm, I watched TV today, cleaned up my bathroom, cleaned up my room, and went to work. The day at work was pretty normal except it started raining suddenly, so people standing in line outside got wet so it was really funny for me to watch. Haha!
My friend TC and I after work went to Taco Bell and chilled there with his friend and ate some awesome food. It was really good. We talked about some stuff and this new video game he has and went back to my house and dropped me off here. And so then I got inside and started talking to Amy again, and still pointing out cultural differences and such. Like, in New Zealand, the McDonalds deliver to your house!! I thought that was freaky. And I also learned that Vegemite was indeed not a myth and I am going to order some and try it on a Toasted cheese sandwich. Of course, I still miss Courtney, but my new song that I made today and uploaded pretty much described that, so yeah, get to listening! Thanks.

Technology is amazing.
It is so amazing nowadays how something that was impossible 30 years ago can happen instantly now. Today was definately another day for the ages to remember. But a few major things that I will discuss are somethings I did with my church group, some things Courtney and I talked about, and somethings that seem impossible.
When I woke up, it was like 8:43am. I didn't awake to a call, unfortunately, but that's because Courtney is away at school learning speech! Anyway, moving on, I got out of bed because I had to be somewhere at 9:30 today. I got out of bed and finally got dressed and everything. I wore a Jack in the Box t-shirt, white pants, hiking boots and a black bandana over my hair. The reason I dressed like this in the heat of the Texas summer was because I was getting ready to paint some walls up at my church with a few people, but first we were all going to North East Mall to watch "Horton Hears a Who". The movie was awesome. I especially liked the small yellow creature called, "Katie". It was great. After the movie, we went to the food court and I had some super awesome bourbon chicken and orange chicken from a chinese food place inside the mall. Then we got in the vehicles and drove back to the church, and began the painting process. I believe my wall was the best, because, well, it looked like the best, of course. I'm kidding, everyone did a good job, but my wall was the only one to get complete, or at least, I hope the others aren't finished. Yikes.
Afterward, my friend Jeff and I, who was the person that helped me with the wall we painted, rode with my sister back to my moms work. I had a call from Courtney I needed to return, so instead of going in, I stood outside and talked on the phone for a while. That's when my day got a lot worse, but at the same time a lot better. Courtney and I are taking a "break" now. When I first heard that I thought she meant break up and stuff, but not at all. She wanted to stay together, just have one week without talking just so we could get things sorted out in our own lives and stuff like that. I don't mind, I think we kinda needed that due to the recent events that I described in my other blogs below this one. But now I have even more time to work on my clinginess so I hope it works out for the best! I love you, Courtney!!
So then I went back home, not to hear from Courtney again til the 13th, which is our four month-eversary. I am so happy about her. She's awesome. This time is good for us even if I don't like it that much. Anyway, so I came home and got on the computer for a bit and watched some family guy and then went up to the local community pool to meet with some Boy Scout people and swim and have some fun. Then after that, something awesome happened that took my mind off of Courtney and I's situation. Someone requested my friendship on Facebook! Yay! That hardly ever happens...I'm kidding, but still. Her name was Amy, and she is from New Zealand. This is what I was saying was like impossible. I mean, someone that is over 3000 miles away can communicate through texts and IM's in less than 5 seconds. I just think that's awesome. I also like the time zone difference between places. I am finding out about New Zealand, and although it's all very weird to us Texans, its really cool to know about.
But yeah, that was my day, again. I can't believe I am actually keeping a consistent blog. I wonder how long I can keep it up? Place your bets? I think so.

Public Enemy Number 1
No, not exactly...but you will see what I mean. This blog will be kinda short, but not really. I am kinda tired and I have to wake up early tomorrow for a movie thing, and then paint walls. Yay.
This morning, I woke up to a call from Courtney, the one and only. We talked for like 14 minutes right up until 7:58am and then she had to go because she has a job to do between the hours of 8 and 5 and we are also working on making me less clingy/possessive/etc. But, like I said, I am working on it, and if anyone sees me being that way, just, punch me, or something. Thanks. Moving on, I got out of bed finally and decided to play Assassin's Creed for the first time in like 5 months. The reason I stopped playing in the first place was because I could never find the things I had to complete on the map. It wasn't until today I learned that those objectives aren't on the map, you actually have to do some work and find them yourself. But I found the number required and assassinated the main guy in my memory block I was in. I'm sorry if you don't quite understand what I am saying, you kinda have to play the game without me writing a novel about what all the stuff means. Anyway, so that took up about 2 hours of my time, so it was around 11:30 or so. My mom came in my room and told me we needed to go run some errands instead of attending the movie I wanted to see with her the night before, but either way, we got "Mommy and Matt" time, so she was happy.
We drove all over Irving. First to one bank, then another, then the hallmark store, then the mall where I bought new bed-sheets (black) and a body pillow. Which tonight I will test and see how that works because I have no idea what to do with a body pillow, but I will let y'all know how that goes tomorrow. So after I got those items at Sears, we strolled down to the other end of the mall looking for a stuffed animal store my mom needed to look in for a stuffed frog. It turned out that store had been out of business for a while and was replaced with "Chinese Avenue". They sold swords and other Chinese memorabilia, but that shop also closed down. Now where that store was is just an empty lot in the mall waiting to be turned into a cheap store. Yay!
We finally made it home. I had ordered another book by Gregg Hurwitz called, "The Crime Writer." I hope this one is as good as "Trust No One" because "Trust No One" was absolutely amazing. And I was really excited when Gregg Hurwitz, the author of the novels, contacted me on face book after I added him as a friend. I get excited over stuff like that. Oh well. Anyway, so I made it home and went up to watch some TV. After I got bored of that, I went downstairs to mess around with Photoshop and managed giving myself some pretty realistic looking tattoos. I shall practice so I can get better, but for now I'm pretty happy with it. Then it was around 5:45 when I got a call from Courtney! Yay! We have limited ourselves to 4 phone calls a day to reduce my clinginess and possessiveness, and so far, it is actually seeming to work. Of course, right now, I'm not particularly fond of the new phone schedule, but I know it is for the better and another experience I will gain personal knowledge and experience out of. Then she had to go get dinner ready and I continued playing with my computer.
Then after we had talked the third time of the day, which was at about 8:00pm, I was talking to Hayleigh, yet again. Only this time we weren't trying to make me feel better, we were trying to come up with ideas on how to help me become less clingy and such. The first thing was that anytime I sent Courtney a text that wasn't necessary at all, she would count them every-time I saw her and punch me as hard as she could in the arm for each text. The next idea we came up with, was that anytime I seemed to be acting possessive and clingy while around Hayleigh, Hayleigh would proceed to punch me hard again. Then at my reply of "What was that for?!" She would only say, "Public Enemy Number One" and then I would remember what we had talked about and instantly back off. I am hoping that with this intense training, I will become a better person overall and become less clingy to Courtney, which will prolong our relationship even further, which is excellent because I really do love her.
So Courtney called me one more time for today, saying good night and such, and now I am here writing this blog. Not the most interesting day in the world, but definatley one I will not forget. Not because of what happened, just because I have the memory of like 10 elephants. It sometimes is a gift, and other times is a curse. But it usually works out either way. I am also still getting attacked by ants, and have no idea when that will stop.

Camponotus consobrinus
Otherwise known as the sugar ant. The reason I posted that as the title is because they are all around my desk right now. A bunch of them, they come in waves. Much like things in our own lives, they come in waves and start building up until you just can't take it anymore. Forgive me if this blog is a bit on the serious side, but I'm just not in the funny mood. Today was a day for all the ages to know.
It started out pretty bland at 8:36am. I rose from my bed at the voice of my mother, "Let's go!! It's time for church!" So I reluctantly stepped out onto the floor thinking there was nothing to live for when I remembered that Courtney could have called! So I turned to my secondary night stand where my phone sits charging everynight and checked it. I got 4 texts from the Twitter service, one from Sarah, and a voicemail from, you guessed it, Courtney! Yay! I was happy, so I clicked play and heard her sweet voice saying many nice things, then the worst word of a voice mail, the word, that when you hear it, you know there isn't any more voice mail. "Bye". I have grown to hate that word. I prefer ending a conversation on a lighter note, but sometimes it is just unavoidable. So I called back, left a message, and went on my way to church.
Once I arrived at church, I roamed around a bit, went to Sunday School, and then to the 11:15 service. The pastor told us many things, everyone got to confess, and we said goodbye to my favorite youth minister of all time, Mike Hill. Wait a minute, did you catch that? There was that word again, "bye". It was attached to another word, "good." There is nothing good about bye!! Anyway, moving on, there was a huge massive line that formed infront of Mike and his wife, Lisa, that certainly was awesome. Like a line at a 7-11 for free slurpee day, it was filled with people thirsty for some last moments with someone they trully enjoyed. Mike is actually planning on working at my school next year as the auditorium manager, which is awesome, because he offered me an intern thing to help him out with everything. I can't wait. Especially since today I switched my main focus to theater...sorry media tech. It's got all the same stuff, promise. Anyway, I will definately miss Mike and all of his antics, but it will be good for him. He deserves a vacation.
After church, I went with my family to Babe's chicken in Downtown Carrolton. Excellent place, good food, good service, and the waitress will even give you her number if you wink back. Just kidding, I love Courtney, remember? Our server's name was Maggie, and she did a good job. We sat in the Chicken coop, and couldn't be happier. All through this time I was hoping to receive a call from Courtney, but nothing, yet.
It was about 2:15pm when I got to work. I sat in the locker room talking with some friends and listening to 4th of July stories from all points of view. Burns here, hangovers there, and many run in's with police. Still no call, or text, but I didn't worry. Nothing to worry about. I went to work and got through the first show just fine. There was a second show tonight, but I didn't have to stay for it. During the show, I got on facebook from my phone and talked to Courtney on there. I was a bit disappointed in this, for I enjoyed phone calls much better than facebook, but I understood her reasoning behind the no phone call thing and went on my chipper way.
After work, I texted Courtney to let her know I was off, and I didn't get a reply. This is normal, so I just waited for a call...which she usually gives about 30 minutes after a text is sent. Nothing. I got home and an hour and a half later I was in the swimming pool when I finally got a call from her. I was happy.
Then, a sequence of events went by that made me very upset, and very sad. I talked to two people who pulled me out of the sadness, Hayleigh and Ms.Foster. Best people ever. They are like depression pills, but not. But what ended up happening was me realizing how unbalanced my life was, working on getting it back to normal, and that I am freakishly in love with Courtney Conatser. Yay.
And now my day ends, sitting at a computer, eating chips and salsa. So good. Thanks everyone.
Peace

It is finished...
Last night at 2:33am, I read the last sentence of one of the best books I have ever read in my life. I was so sad when I got down to the last ten pages but the ending was absolutely amazing. The author of the book, Gregg Hurwitz, has a few other books on the shelves, so I will have to check those out. As for now I have two books to read. One is "House" by Ted Dekker I believe is how you spell it which I will read after the other novel I recently purchased, "The Midnight Room." that book is supposed to be about some guy who gets trapped in a house by a serial killing doctor...or something like that. But of course I'll be keeping you updated. Have fun.
