A whole new week. Finally.

It is about time last week was over and done with. Although many good things happened, I believe most of the best stuff happened last night and into the wee hours of the morning. Today is Sunday, September 13, 2009 and I have just finished eating the best breakfast ever. Not because of the taste of the food or anything, but what I had to do to get it. All this and more on todays Day by Day with Matt W. posting...

Yesterday, Saturday, started off well. I woke up and my mom suggested we go eat Sushi. So off we went to Oh! Sushi! That's the name of the store, but I fear its a play on words for something not as appealing, oh well. So we ate tons and tons of Sushi, I was very full and very tired by the end of that meal. We took home some udon and some of our volcano rolls. My dad was supposed to try them, but, he didn't. Oh well. So After lunch we checked the mail and realized my senior pictures had come in, and they are looking excellent! Once we order them I will have better scans and such with none of the stupid watermark crap on it.

So then once we did get home, it was time I went to work, and so another excellent day of training at the light console. I did the first show about halfway through, and the second show I did by myself, kinda. Thanks to Robin and Rick for the training. Next week at work doesn't seem as exciting. I'm working...2 shows? And I think I'm pulling curtain for both. Hopefully I'll be back on lights soon, and finish up my training. Who knows.

After work, I went home and got online and talked to people and uploaded some of my proofs online for people to see and comment and such. Then went upstairs and texted someone who, might I say, I am rather fond of talking to and hope to continue such activities.

Then, my stomach started hurting. It wasn't a normal stomach ache either, it was like I was laying on something that was pressing into my stomach, but I flattened out the sheets and comforter and it still felt this way. Eventually it went away and I fell asleep. Hooray. Then I woke up about 3 and a half hours later to my mom telling me to get up. I didn't want to. So I told her my reasoning and they went to church without me. But at least I got to sleep. I also went to get doughnuts. Yay! I love doughnuts.

As for tomorrow, I have school in the morning , luckily its an A-day so I have Economics, Art 2 Ceramics, and Theater. Excellent day. And on Thursday is the Employee party up at speedzone!!! I'm so excited. It will be the first employee party I am going to since I can get off school at 11 on B days, yay. Awesome week ahead. I hope yours is just as exciting.

Peace

Something has to be done.

Well, it's obviously been a while since I have posted on here, but I just wanted to because I'm going through a lot right now and the only way I seem to be able to get through anything is to write about it.

As most of you know, I have been single for a few months. I've dated one girl since I dated Courtney, and things between us just didn't seem to click. We remain friends, however, and continue talking.

I started my senior year of high school this past month and so far its going great. My favorite class has to be Theater 1 because I discovered I love acting however nervous it makes me. I do enjoy it and hope to continue with it.

I recently had a situation happen between Courtney and I that have many of you in question and I just want to clear it up. She wanted to get back together, and so I agreed and we were talking for a few days. Then for a reason that shall remain unknown to me, I decided it was best we didn't get back together. So then we had a day off so to speak and then started talking again. I apologized to her, and we went on our merry way. Then, once again, I had a mind change for reasons I am unaware of and told her we shouldn't get back together. Again. Yes. By this point I was feeling really bad. I felt like this until I had another change of heart that I did want to be with her, for a reason I am unaware. So I talked to her about it, well, texted her, and she said she was going to think about it. I didn't deserve to be back with her for what I put her through, so I just continued on hoping for the best. Then, tonight, while at incredible pizza company, I decided to stop all this. I was tired of feeling bad and I was tired of having others suffer due to my stupid teenage hormones and unknown feelings. So I called and left a voice mail explaining this and as of right now I am single and going to be that way until something happens. In other words, I'm going to wait and see what the world is going to throw at me. So for anyone else that is confused, I am sorry, and to Courtney especially I am sorry for what I did. I don't deserve your forgiveness, but I hope you understand where I am coming from when I say I have to figure myself out.

As for tomorrow, going to try and see my cousin Ashleigh at her dorm, and then work from 3 til 10. I hope everyone has a good night. Sleep well.

Wow!!! Sorry for the absence.

I have had so many things happen the last two weeks it isn't even funny. I'm just going to start by saying I miss a lot of people, and I just realized that. Last week, I went on a camp out to south padre and cut my foot open on some coral, got a tattoo, and got two kayaking awards. It was a great vacation. Now I'm back at work again, and I did sound last Monday, which was awesome, as usual. I won't go into detail about all that, but I will about today, keeping up with tradition.

Well, started off with me waking up at around 11:00 and watching TV and texting some people on my new phone! Which is a Sony Ericcson w760a and is much cheaper per month than the iphone with a lot of awesome features as well. I talked to my friend Daniel and we went to lunch at Ojeda's Mexican Diner. Which is awesome food and service, because they got a two dollar tip from me and thats hard to do.

Then we went to work, and looked at some really old photos of the castle and it's inhabitants from like the 90's. One photo had a big advertisement wanting people to enter a contest that the prize was to see the World Premiere of "The Cable Guy" which is a movie that featured Medieval Times in it. So that's how we knew it was a photo from long ago, no pun intended. Ha ha. I'm so funny, not.

Well, while at work I spotlighted, and dropped my phone 15 feet out of my spotlight booth, and it emerged unharmed, so I was pretty happy about that. Thanks to the server who picked it up and nursed it back to health, job well done. I've been messing up my internal clock these last few weeks, and I'm sad to say it was fun doing it. Talking to Amber, who is awesome and going to college. Which I am sad about, but it must be done. I shall miss her!

But after work, I came home and decided to catch up on my blog. Nothing too important here. Just normal kinda.

Peace

White Noise.

Is that background noise that you hear when you are on the phone with someone when they don't talk. I heard that today right before she said "I'm done." And it wasn't the best thing in the world obviously. I'm sorry for my 2 days absence, I have been trying to save a relationship, which didn't work. But for now, Daniel is coming to get me so we can hang out. Single again. This is weird. Oh well. I shall have much to get used to within the next few weeks. I'm trading in my iphone, so, that will be a weird adjustment. Right now I am jamming. Later today I will stop by her place to drop off some stuff. But other than that we will continue to be friends and such.

Thanks for all my friends!!!

Peace

Everything Mac, Everything Else.

This is the way that Apple organizes the instruction booklets/software that come with any new Apple product. They put all the stuff you need to know about the product you bought into "Everything Mac" and anything in general that is already generally known about the product, or miscellaneous software that is already installed on the product. This is how most of us tend to organize our lives. There are a few things we find most important that we feel need their own category and breaking down of things, and then we feel that there is just everything else that life comes with all one bullet point on the keynote of life. For me, mine would be "Everything Courtney/Friends/Family/Work/Guitar/Phone" and "Everything Else" of course. And that's how today was for me.

My day started off with me waking up once again staring at the clock across from my bed. It read, "10:38". I looked around, wondering what in this dismal place I call my home was worth waking up for...well...I remembered that today was the day Courtney would call and we would finally end our "break". I checked my phone. "Texts: Twitter(4), Daniel Welch (1); Missed Calls: Courtney Cona...(1); Voicemails: Courtney Cona...(1)" Yes!! I was so happy. I listened to the voice mail, definitely not her best, but it was still great to hear her voice. I called her, and we talked for like an hour. Discussing things that went on during the break, and things we planned on doing today, and things we planned on doing in the future. But after our call, I went with my mom shopping again, this time for specific camping things.

We got 2 pairs of swim trunks, 2 pairs of shorts, and a stuffed cow. Well, I got the stuffed cow...it's awesome. And I just realized something random. Why is it, that when we put a period at the end of a sentence, we must capitalize the letter that follows, yet, when we put three periods (aka ellipsis) we don't capitalize the letter after those three times as much? Hm...anyway...moving on. We left the mall and went to Wal Mart, and bought some other camping supplies. I got a snorkeling set, which is awesome and works great. I also got a lock for my locker at the gym and some Coca-Cola pajama pants. Then we went to Sports Authority, always skeptical of when I enter due to when I broke my leg in a sporting goods store in Los Angeles 4 years ago, but no matter. Courtney called me, and we talked while I was getting my water shoes, and such. Then she had to go, and I was on my home.

When I got home, I jumped in the pool and tested my new snorkel equipment, which works amazingly. Then went to shower and go to work at 5:30. Then, while at work, I forgot to give the flowers to the trumpeters for games, which made them most upset, and then I finished working, and went home, and here I am. Courtney and I talked again, breifly, but still no call, which kinda made me feel sad, but I know she loves me!!

Peace

Surfer of the Year

I have a fake made cover of "Transworld Surf Magazine" where it features me on the cover surfing in South Padre last year during the first camping trip we took out there. To be honest, when I first went, I didn't go with the most optimistic attitude, but this year, for some reason, I am really excited about going. I can't wait, honestly. I guess my sense of adventure is more overpowering than my sense to get eaten alive by mosquitoes. But after one week of no blogging, I will probably have to take a journal or something so I can just transfer my logs to blogs. We shall see.

Today, I woke up around 9:30, showered, ate, and went to McDonalds. I had to be at work extra early today because of the Boy Scout stuff that was going on again. I got to sign autographs and take pictures with the guests, which I really enjoy, so that was fun. Then two shows later, and a draining of energy, I left the castle. While waiting on my ride, I talked to Keri and she was inviting to the Backyard Beach Bar thing, but I couldn't go because my parents had just arrived and it would have been rude to have them leave right as they got there. But I told Keri she could swim at my house and bring her own booze, so it's all good. I wouldn't participate in the boozing as they call it, but I would definitely enjoy a Coca Cola while the festivities were going on.

On the ride back home and then to go out to eat, I learned something that happened yesterday during my cousins party at my house that I am nor particularly happy about. Apparently, my mother had noticed people using my computer, and being the awesome mom that she is, got my dad to get them off of it. I don't know what they were doing, but they are lucky I didn't catch them, or else I would have bored them with cool geeky stuff about the iMac that they probably wouldn't have enjoyed, but I would have! Haha! While at dinner tonight, I had some of the spiciest Jamaican Jerk Chicken I have ever had, but it was delicious. I also had some fried okra and salad. Yum!

And then we came home, and my sister and I got on the computers and such and I tried to write a song, but I just wasn't feeling it tonight. One thing I am super excited about is tomorrow, I might get to see Courtney!! It's been so long, but the wait was worth it for all the self realization that occurred within me and I'm sure what occurred within her as well. I can't wait. But for now, bedtime.

Peace
-Matt
